Impact, special achievements & commitments | Mood Foods has been trading since 2007 with an aim to produce healthier chocolate of the highest possible quality. They make chocolate from raw materials to have complete control over the supply chain and production process. In addition to organic, ethical trading has always been a vital part of their ethos. They have now taken the next step to become certified Fair Trade. Cacao is the most important ingredient in their chocolate and they import this directly from cooperatives in Ecuador. They have an excellent representative in the field in Ecuador dedicated to sourcing their cacao which requires her to work very closely with cooperatives, farmers and producers to ensure their standards can be met. She also shares their passion to bring benefit to everyone involved in the brand and so they continually work on a strategic plan for local investment in the communities from where their cacao originates. | |||||||
